On average, if the EVAP sensor needs to be replaced, the sensor it self is around $300.00. It is fairly easy to replace, so labor should not be too high. Usually, depending on make and model, takes abou an hour to do.
I have a 2010 Subaru Impreza. Taking it in to the dealership this afternoon.

I am not real familiar with this model, but it shouldn't take more time than I estimated. What I forgot to say was, it could be something as simple as a vacuum leak. My truck was checked on the computer and also shot a code saying EVAP failure. It turned out it was just a vacuum leak. I hope you have the best of luck with this.

Oh, Brookshire11, when you poach really fresh eggs, you will not need any vinegar! I've poached bantam eggs (2/3rds the size of large eggs) that were so round they were shaped as if they still had a shell on them.
That sounds great! I can't wait for my first fresh Eggs Benedict!

My van has a vacuum leak. We fixed one side, but it's on the other too.
It took about 100 and 1-2 hours for my husband to fix. But we haven't gotten around to the other side yet.
Mine's so bad though that if I don't keep the RPMs up it dies...lo
I have to keep it revved a bit, even when I'm stopped...I have to drive with 2 feet! lol

This is what is wrong with my car.  I'm not sure what it will cost to fix.

I had the same problem on a Kia van and it turned out to be the gas cap needed replaced. It gave the same readout but it was still under warranty so Kia fixed it. Before they realized that it was under warranty they said it was something else that was gong to run $600 to fix. When tell told my wife this she called me and I had her give the phone to the man and when I told him to look and see if the warranty would cover it everything changed.

My favorite AG hen died Monday :hit I found her running around with a cracked egg half hanging by a 4" egg shell "stream". I couldn't catch her (she's freegrange-roosts in the trees) & didn't see her until the next evening. I had to net her & put her in a coop. I could tell she didn't feel well, by the time I was able to give her some help I guess it was too late, she died Monday :(

I am so sorry for your loss.

Lisa :)

Sure wish I could go to sleep it's going to make for a very long day tomorrow or should I say today. Feel asleep at 8pm but those turkeys woke me up cause the tv was turned off at 9pm and they started crying and I had to turn it back on Fox News so they would get quiet. Now I can not go back to sleep. What are they going to do next week when I put them out in the coop? No more tv for them. :th

Fox News-good man :highfive:
