Hello!
frow.gif

I am just North West of Fort Worth in the little town of Azle. We have 36 acres that we are starting to work on so we can start building our little farm. It's just the two of us, so I am sure that will be more than enough. We are planning on keeping several kinds of animals, but chickens are my favorite. I am looking for recommendations on everything about keeping chickens in Texas so let me know your best tips.

Greetings from Schulenburg, Texas, located just off I10 almost exactly halfway between San Antonio and Houston. It sure is hot here. I am native Texan, and after living in North Dakota for 30 years, we came back to Texas in November 2004. We have 7 hens, 1 rooster, 1 longhorn mamma to be, 2 Watusi cows with each a bull calf, 1 llama, 2 Pygmy goats, 3 Dwarf Nigerian dairy goats, 2 horses, 4 donkeys, 2 dogs, and 5 parrots. They keep us busy! I miss the cold weather. But, I have to admit, I do not miss the blizzards. I have a lot of exploring to do in this site, so many places I have not checked out yet....
