O
Lisa you always come through.  Y'all are so good for checking Amazon, I always for get about them.  A friend found my light I wanted for my coop on Amazon too.  If I wasn't needing that tool this week I would order it but the pen is going up with week.  I have a LOT of work to do to get it ready to go up.
How are your babies?  I think ours are about the same age.  Mine are 5 weeks old today!  But my Silkies are just a week old.  They are so cute!:love
Yea you have to be so careful, don't want them using your wifi, they will be downloading all kinds of "stuff" and it can come back on you.  Hacking into the feds, stealing CC numbers.....LOL  they next thing you know you will here this..... Knock Knock Knock....lisaterrell88 we have  you surrounded!  LOL

:thumbsup

Or your a family Teenager..... how these kids know all of this is wild.  Some of them are scare how much they know.
Hey I make homemade egg rolls last night.  They were so good.  I did it about a month ago and even made the wrap homemade as well and they were even better.  But DH found the wraps already made up in the store so I tried them last night.  I will Never buy frozen egg rolls again.  These were so good and pretty easy.
[/quoteoh man I would freak and hubby would say ok lisa what did u do now lol

I remember the days when a neibor would come to ur house to barrow a cup of sugar or a few tea bags. Mine came by to ask if they can barrow the code to my wifi. Oh boy what has world come to. They say they will only use it for a month then they will get there own. Yeah I bet.
Wowww....that IS bold.
We don't have wifi, I just purchased an app that allows my computer to use my phone's 4g when it's hooked up. No "jailbreaking" the phone, no monthly bill! Cost me $4.95!

dont get your feathers ruffled! Happy Momday
Too cute!

Recipe sharing time. :)

Look what I am making for Easter dinner. :) I just ordered the pan from Walmart. They have the best price. I did site to store pick up for free shipping too.

Lemon lime pound cake

This is going to be so good! Just look at all the eggs and butter in it. lol!
I know you do a lot of baking and probably already know this trick but its something my mom has always done for pound cakes.

She separates the yolk from the egg whites and adds just the yolks to the batter. Then, once all of the ingredients are added and the batter is almost ready, in a separate bowl, she beats the whites until they are light and fluffy and make soft peaks. Once they are ready, you fold the egg whites into the batter, don't mix, then pour it into your pan and bake. Her pound cakes are amazing and still dense but not heavy, if that makes sense? I wish I had her recipe to share, because I sooooo would, but that's probably why she hasn't given it to me yet!

Too cute!

Quick break, I took these pics this morning. I think I will do what a lot of y'all have done and start my coop thread. But here it is so far. We still have a little tin work to do on the out side where the wall and roof met and I still have to pin the wire to gather better at the seems. I'm not sure what I'm going to do where the studs are showing. I thought about covering with tin. DH said leave it alone but it seems unfinished.

So all y'all wonderful people give me your opinions. Guys that are into coop building tell me what you would do, need a mans opinion and ladies I need your I site also, I know y'all paint and stuff too! Lol I still have to install the roosts and nests and I know where all that is going to go. And once the pen is up we will uncover the chicken door and put up the motor.
This door leads out into the pen when we get it finished and the chicken door is right beside this door.

The wall that looks open here has cattle guards up and chicken wire over that. The door leads into my feed room and the rest if the barn.
Ok so what do you see that I don't!!
I think it looks wonderful! HUGE!
Bet the chicks are happy!

We went with a small temp building until we pay our Tax Fine.

Calling it the Chick Palace From here they will graduate to the Hen House.

Do you make your own sauce? can you can it up if you make a batch like that or do you add the noodles to it?
Can noodles be canned in soup or sauce or do they get nasty?
That would be a great Recipe to have for a stock up day to do easy meal on hot day.

lets see 60 servings at 1 cup each makes 4 servings per Quart that is 15 meals for a family of 4. not a bad days work
Please share

Been locked inside too long my mind is running!

Hello..sorry i didn't make it back last night was so tired when we got home all we did was eat and crash. I make my own sauce It a cheesey sauce not tomato. I used 15 lbs of chicken. 7lbs spaghetti and all the stuff for the sauce. Not sure you knew that about the cheese. Sure I;ll be glad to share the recipe. Never tried canning it. But it freezes pretty well. Noodles and sauce and chicken are cooked separtely but are all mixed together and baked before serving. What we made was enough to give a generous serving to 60. The men did the serving though so they would have come up short if we had 60 people.lol

The sun is out so need to do some work outside. Can't find my dogs for the grass in their yard...Seriously all I can see are tails...and ones a lab.

I'll write it down if you want and post it later this evening when we get done outside. Magpie

That is a very old trick used to do just that dense but not heavy. There is a big difference when they are made that way verses not!
