Then perhaps the trip to the dentist (on it's own) will motivate him to be more careful in the future.

I really doubt it. Those 2 boys always injure them selves and each other horse playing around. I can specifically tell them not to do something and they go and do it! I even tried reverse psychology on them, it didn't work it only made things worse.....

I have no real experience with pre-teen boys...but I believe this too shall pass (eventually).

Chicken Math is us being unable to say no. Basically like me. I wanted a flock of 12 hens, 1 Roo, and 3 geese (1 gander and 2 goose). Now I have a flock of near 30 chickens (can't wait for cull day though to get rid of some Roos), 6 geese, and am adding 5 ducks from you in a week or sooner.
And I still want some EE chicks as well, lol.

That is classic Chicken Math. We can't resist a "few" more.
