We have the movie on DVD. The kids love it!
Wing clipping isn't hard, have your husband help you and cut the long primary flight feathers under the culverts.
Looking it up now. Thanks!

YAY!I'm a little misty-eyed seeing how well their first day went. I miss them more than my daughter or husband does...but that's just me. Thank you for posting the pics!

Today was great, they explored and swam and did all kinds of duck fun things. Tonight they are a bit stressed, first night in a new home. I made sure they got plenty of food and water before putting them to bed. I will get up early tomorrow to let everyone out so they can mingle and get used to each other.
I hope tonight's not too restless for them.![]()

Tell that to my girls!! If I don't let them out at 8:00 am sharp, they are letting me and the whole world know about it. Beware Tjack, you know not what you are getting into!! LOL
Ah, some of those kinds of chickens. Have had some of those. Sometimes I have just booted them out of the coop and shut the door and forced them to stay out in the run all day until they got the hint. Other times I have just left them alone to figure it out. Just gotta go with the flow sometimes.I put out scratch and meal worms on alternating days. They come out after I have put it down for about 20 min then back in they go. Nothing is inside the coop itself.
If it is they will probably nap a lot tomorrow to make up for it. They will adjust quickly, once they get used to everyone and our routine here.
Glad you enjoyed the pics!
Yeah...they made my day.Thanks again!

Mine are 17 weeks and also spend 80% or more in the coop. They have lots of room in the run, 6 chickens in a 10'x16' run. If I go out there they will come out every time. My wife says I am there mother figure.Mine are spending 80% of their time in the coop and not foraging around the run. Weird right? They are 13 weeks
