If it's atreat you want to give them, try raisins. My ladies love them and will climb all over you when they know you have them!! Here are some of them at "Raisin Time"!!

Yeah, you sent me a drake with performance issues and butch hens. You just didn't want them confusing your daughter with their behavior!

Nah...My daughter knows some girls love girls, some boys love boys, and some people love both. Had I known we had "queer quackers", I probably would have used their behavior to show her that humans aren't the only ones to have varying sexual orientations.

I know they have plenty of water to practice in. But, it seems to me he will get it... with time.

The ducks' poop isn't even dry (we sold them to @Starfire669 on Wednesday) and my husband is already talking about getting some chicks this weekend. I knew we would eventually be adding to the flock, but I didn't think it would happen so soon. Nothing officially planned...he just mentioned it to me, yesterday. So, we may be getting a crash course in how to care for chicks & introduce new birds to our flock...only three weeks after our crash course in raising backyard poultry. Are we crazy? I think we are.

Another good boy Blue moment. We were tracking poop in the berry patch trying to figure out if it was coon or coyote and I heard Blue losing his mind in the bushes. He ripped the coon out of a tree and... well... after a twenty minute fight of wit he won.

Good dog! I'm glad we don't have many raccoons in this area...my little mutt would be useless at catching/killing it.
