Texas

Sounds good. With my youngest pup Phantom we had to bleach our shoes when we came home from the dog park. And there were insane people there with 6 week old pup with no shots. Parvo is deadly, and it is a horrible way to die. The dog dehydrates to death basically, no matter how much it drinks.

ya I know, its nasty stuff

I would also suggest you poop scoop all the pups poo to prevent/cut down the amount of the worm eggs living in your soil. I believe the eggs can survive up to 7 years in the soil.

I hope she gets better. Keep us posted? Good luck.

My back is still killing me so I am gonna go lay down on a nice hot pad and pray it stops soon.

Thanks, unfortunately I have had to live with this for 10 years, and according to my VA doctor it will only get worse. I just hope the dang meds kick in soon or I am going to start screaming from it.
If and when the meds kick in I will jump back on, or when my IPad is charged. Whichever comes first.

The pup does have workms! One got on me while washing clothes. Pretty sure it was dead but I want to soak myself in alcohql now.. i cant handle worms, so we are going to de worm her and send her back with my bf for a little while. Do I need to re de worm her with that meds after a certain amount of days? I know she must be awfully bad wi th her pooping them out
The one I told you about you can do every 2 weeks. One round will likely get them all though

After seeing that my 9-weekers are starting to peck, peck, peck one another...I receive a kick in the pants to get busy on coop adjustments this weekend!

Pecked girl. When I first got them, only 2 or 3 were like this. I thought maybe they were just coming into feather, but I've noticed there are more that look like this now.

Doesn't her face look bad, too?

This happened to my first flock in the late '90s and I learned that it was because of over crowding. I seem to remember someone here telling another member that it was "normal feathering" but it's not, at least not for chickens. Making adjustments in your coop was the right thing to do. If you don't have daytime roosts in your coop, you may consider adding some. It doesn't count as "floor space" but it lets the lower order birds get away.

The chicks face looks a little bald but I have some that look that way. Some chickens have more face feathering than others...she may just be in that "ugly duckling" stage.
