I have an ex wife like that

He is fine, he got big cans of olives and artichoke and gave me some this morning. And he brought some lettuce from his garden to feed my geese, and some onions for me. I wish I had half his green thumb, lol. My garden is looking rather pathetic right now.
You alway say Henry is trying to pay you for your help. Allow him to do so by helping you out in your garden. I think he would enjoy it, you'd get some good pointers from an old pro, and he would feel like he was contributing. win/win/win

Can some1 check a conversion for me. It is very important that I don't screw it up. It is electrolytes for 2 ducklings. 8oz makes 110 gallons. So how much do I put in 1 gallon? I have .7 which is about 3/4 teaspoon, correct??

Not sure if you got this figured out yet.... I got 0.07oz per gallon. with 30 ml in 1 oz conversion, you need about 2ml.

She would, but I think that she would be happier outside, living a ducks life with her sister ducks. None of the other ducks are as tame as she is, so they wouldn't be house ducks. Ducks like being in groups, they are flock animals like chickens and geese. Plus with 2 very active boys, 6 hyper dogs, and 4 cats, all the commotion in the house would terrify her. We will just have to snuggle her ever chance we get outside, lol.

Just checked on the flock as the lightning says the storm is about to break over us, and she not only has the 2 youngest goslings snuggled up with her, the 9 6 week old black Austrolorps have managed to get back into the temporary nursery we set up in the 2nd coop. I just kicked them out of the nursery a few days ago and I guess all the big chickens scare them so those little turds hopped back in. So Ebony has a whole lot of snuggle buddies tonight, lol.

She is snuggly. Glad all the little ones like her, and vice-versa. I think she'll love the ducklings like they were her own.

I am so excited about getting the Cayuga ducklings. My hubby talked me into trying 1 male with the 2 females I'm getting this Thursday. He points out that we don't know how Howard was raised. I did some research and Cayuga drakes are a little smaller than Pekin drakes, so that's good. Some people who have them say the Cayuga drakes are calm and gentler than some other breeds. That could just be individual drakes and not a breed thing though. Also this baby will be raised with 2 females and will have 3 more older ladies that hopefully can teach him manners growing up. It would be nice to have a gentle drake for the ladies, that way I can get fertile eggs from the Cayuga females for hatching. Just because I don't want the cresteds to hatch their own eggs (i dont want to deal with the crested skull deformity and its issues) doesn't mean they can't hatch some of the Cayuga eggs and be mommies if they so desire. So let's keep our

that this baby drake turns out nicer than Howard.

As for Howard, he is a hero at my sister's right now. They have a really mean bully hen that beats up the 12 week old goslings she has. This psychotic hen has also tried to attack the sheep and nanny goat. Well, she tried her crap with Howard and he got a mouthful of tail feather off her! The crazy hen hasn't messed with the ducks or geese since. So

for Howard! Found a way to put Howard to use and do some good,.

I think Howard was an alpha guard dog in a previous life.

Yay for Howard & Yay for the Quackers & their growing family!
