OMG!! Mt. Lions!! We have seen two Mt. Lion kittens running by our mailbox before, and we've also had several neighbors see a big one cross onto our place, and once we found fresh Mt. Lion tracks after it rained ( last year). We know they're around, just don't see them.

We have a Bob-Cat that is hanging around and has killed: two Australorps, 1 peahen, 3 bantams, and just about everything else you can think of!

He has cost me easily over $500.00 on the stock he's killed.

I hope the water table is wide enough to support this and enough water flows in from the surrounding area to keep well wet. That's beyond ignorant and arrogant, it's bordering on obscene!

The real problem is not enough regulation or environmental requirements on potential damages to a neighbor before a major project can be approved There is so many subdivision in low lying areas that were in the flood area that they build up 20 or more feet and the homes that have been there for years now flood with just moderate rains (if it ever rains again)
Talk to your county and see if they are breaking any laws. Talk to your county and see if they are breaking any laws. Without rain water tables are dropping so a 6 acre lake won't help to say the least This SOB doesn't care he won't live there if the water runs out it will be after the place is sold out and he will be gone

Good idea! You know, there's a film I saw on Netflix (Tapped!) that discusses this very problem. Only in this case, they are bottling the water during horrific droughts. Either case, way too much water taken out of the aquifer for silly uses while the locals suffer.

I agree I have been talking to some environmentalist about the situation. Its unbelievable here we are burning up I mean in every since. This moron is trying to fill up a lake. No one even lives on the property. No livestock nada. I know he's trying to beautify the land to sell it but my god wake up & smell the coffee. I'm praying for rain trust me. I sure hope my well doesn't go dry. i usually cut 300 roles of hay every year to pay the taxes my pastures look like the Mojave desert. Now this lame brain pulls a stunt like this.
I've spent many of sleepless nights due to the construction at all hours of the night. Called the sheriff he said the guy can do what ever he wants. They don't care about me & all the tax's money we have spent in Grimes County. My farm is now going on the third generation. We've paid a many of tax's dollar for what. To be treated like crap.
I bet when I get my canon & fire it off every morning the sheriff will be over here in no time telling me I'm disturbing the peace. These people make the laws up as they go.

How do I water my livestock when my well goes dry? Drilling water wells ain't cheap trust me.
