Texas

Good luck with the Araucanas! I hear they're hard to hatch because they carry a gene having to do with the ear tufts that kills a good amount of them.

They are on day 21 right now and I hope things go well. I have heard no sounds coming from the incubator or any rocking. Actually afraid to check them.

I am thinning down my herd of Seramas if anyone is interested...I have a great rooster and several proven hens that I will be up for sale when the weather turns in October...unless someone is close to central Texas and wants to pick them up...a fair price will be ask.

I am interested in your hens and am a hop, skip and a jump away in Waco... Live in town so no roos for me. What is your asking price and how old are they?

Do your best hen imitation and cluck at them and see if they respond - really they hear you and they will answer!

I have been tapping on the incubator and talking to them but I have heard nothing back. We are in the middle of moving and I am so impatient but at least we have planned everything around their hatch time so that I didn't have to relocate them during incubation.
