Raining here in Austin. YAY!! I haven't gone out to let the girls out of the coop and their like "what do we do now"? "What is this stuff"?. I can see them from my bedroom window just standing there. They have access to their covered run if they want. I kind of feel guilty not letting them in the yard to roam.

I'm looking for some of that rain at the edge of the Pineywoods .. (but hopefully not until I get home and cover my bale of hay .. eeeeK!

it's raining here. has been steady since about 4am, the chickens are out in the yard and they look soaked and pathetic!

they don't seem to mind, there are plenty of places they could go to stay out of it but instead they're standing out in it

and I'll keep my fingers crossed it gets to you (after the hay is covered of course). I grew up stomping around the Woodville area and try to head through there at least 3-4 times a year. Gotta have my chicken and dumplings fix at Heritage Gardens
