Texas

Hey Texans! My chicks are not very smart, I did blow outs with the hair dryer and putting chicks in the garage with a heat lamp on them. I have six babies, they were all huddled up like a pyramid an inch from shelter, lol. They were water logged and pathetic, laughing. I think today they are using their coop, live and learn. However, I dont think they learned from their experience, I think they watched the older hens. I dont have a picture, I started grabbing them and bringing them inside.

I have 23 that need to go live outside. Their coop is almost ready for just that if it would stop raining all the time.

The rain has just started here. Bill is a massive storm and here it comes. With how wet the ground still is, they're saying it could actually become stronger from the land moisture instead of weakening. I'm really hoping it doesn't work out that way.

We didn't flood last time but my mother's house did.
I never cared for Bills. The ones you get in the mail, and the one guy I had to work with then for.

I sure do hope every one is staying calm and dry.
I let my Ladies out this morning and then got coffee and some news in me, oops so then I spent quite a bit of time outside in a down pour looking like this Came in soaking wet and deposited my clothing into the shower. after getting a fresh dry outfit I noticed this Now I am not sure if the sunshine was mocking me or my now cooped up Ladies, but one look at the coop and I am quite sure it was the latter
this is what i saw in the coop window. and !!

So back out to the coop to let the Ladies roam for now.

Wow it would be nice if even one person knew what was really going to happen with this storm for central Texas.

Good luck with your Ladies and Weather reporters Stay Safe Texas!
I got soaked making sure paper bad guys got perforated with holes today.
