Texas

I know the feeling. We've been swamped.
True, between work, chicken maintenance and building another coop for the Chocolate Orpingtons, it is interesting. If the weather cooperates I should have the headers for the roof on by tomorrow, and then I can work on the door frame, and side beams to attach the barn siding to.

I was just about to message you! I'll do it anyways.

Next week marks the adventures of trying to build flight pens before the quail get to big. Yayyyy! Bobwhites at least don't grow as fast as Coturnix.

I need some help from my Central Texas people. My kids school in Coupland will be having a harvest Festival in November with a silent auction. I would like to hatch out some rare breed chicks to add to the auction. If anyone has any eggs they would like to donate to a good cause I would really appreciate it. I don't need them until October 15th but I thought I would get the word out. Thanks!

I bet the little buggers are tasty though.

Second egg. Can you tell how small they are?
