Sister Dear,
  In Austin, we still in the 90s. However, it will change soon by Fri. I will take my family to visit Vietnam, flying out of Houston at 1am Sat , arriving Ho Chi Minh city by 10pm Houston time. Then I will see how it feels at 105F without AC.

Until then, I will keep enjoying the 90s in an AC room, in front of my cable TV.

Not sure yet.CedarPark? Avery Ranchish. We just started this process.Exploring options and starting to downsize our belongings.

Two and a half weeks. I love my family but I stay longer and I get antsy for the homestead and my flock.

I totally understand! I am happy to see everyone, but anxious to get back home. I have turned into a homebody. My family don't understand but that is what happens when you are stuck in the city.

Sitting out on the porch listening to the thunder. Miss the chickens, but I don't think I should get more just now. Too hot and we are putting our house on the market.Hard to do, but it is too much for us to maintain and still have energy for the grandkids. Two babies due in Aug.

Hens, what have I missed? Is it your health?

Yes, I know the area well. My family comes there quite often as we have a friend living there, and this friend has all kinds of band instruments. My wife sings, I play guitar, my old son tries the drum, my friend operates the organ ... then we have the next Beatles in the making. My favorite song is "Sealed with a Kiss" (1971)

Recently Mr. Obama came there and he went out at night, enjoying a dish called "Bun Cha Ha Noi", this is round rice noodle with BBQ meat. Very good dish. See below article.

I am glad you are going when he isn't there. It would have really messed your plans up!

We are downsizing because it will give us time. Less time spent working around the house. And we are not spring chickens especially after the motorcycle crash, that took a toll. When Mom left for Heaven it openned us up to move.
