The foot traps we have don't have teeth. They are just smooth bars. They are not strong enough to break skin or bones. I hope to be coming your way for a new LGD pup in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted.

It's hard to get a puppy young enough through rescue and I'm wanting to get from working stock.

Maybe it's for the best. You can train a puppy like you want it. Rather than having to retrain.

Is there anyone in Central Texas (Bastrop, Giddings, Brenham, even Austin area) that would like to rehome any of your ducks? I am looking to purchase 2 or 3 duck hens (hens only). Since it is so close to winter, I do not want ducklings, prefer 4 months or older. I will pick them up, so would like for it to be fairly close to me (I live in Ledbetter, off 290, between Brenham and Giddings).

I can assure you that they will be pets, and treated well. My 2 1 year old pekin hens are spoiled rotten! They just need friends.
