Hope y'all didn't get any damage from the storms last night. We are in Red Rock, between Lockhart and Bastrop.

They let you put your eggs at the gas station??? LOL that's kinda cool.

We've lost power 2x in the last 2 days, I had to put a towel over my incubator and hoped they made it - they are on lock down starting today, so i'm hoping they survive and hatch by wednesday.

This is what my yard looked like when we woke up this morning.

Glad y'all are safe and no damage.

Beautiful photos, looks surreal!
I had to hook my incubator up to a power converter at 5:00 am this morning . We lost power until 10:00 am. Tomorrow is hatch day 8 bcm eggs. Central Texas weather

Everyone who's hatching in storms...good luck - hope it works out.
San Antonio got hit by three tornadoes. (I got lucky, no damage, though it was kinda scary)

That is also scary -- glad no harm!
take care everyone.

I have serious question for you guys. I have a chicken who is doing too well. The end of her upper beak has been broken off and she hasn't quite been herself for weeks. She will eat and drink but stays hidden in the coop for most of the day. The others peck at her and such so I assume she is hiding. I recently had one hen who was fine one morning, suddenly turned for the worse and died the next morning. I don't think the two incidents are related but I could be wrong... Any ideas on what to do or what could be wrong?
