Texas

Hi Kiki!

We have been extremely lucky. Our house is on block and beams so the house is doing fine. Our property had 25+ inches but it is drying up thanks to the wind and sun.

We still have our neighbors living with us. They live just about 1/4 mile down the road and they were flooded out. The water at their place might be between the ankle and knee now.

Everywhere we go we see the devastation. The bright part is seeing people helping one another. I love Texas. May she never lose her big heart!

My mom is out on the San Bernard ...her house is built up but her land is flooded, the barn is for sure under too....a mess we will be cleaning up hopefully starting next week? She hasn't been allowed back in yet the water is still gushing out there.
Hopefully it goes down soon.

My brother is in Sugar Land and he got extremely luck with not getting water in his home, neighbors weren't as lucky.
My BFF is in Fort Bend Co area and she hasn't been able to get back to her house yet wither.
It's CRAZY.
