Texas

I have a question
I have a couple of chickens I want to breed, but I am not wanting a staggered hatch. How do you store eggs pre incubation for one hatch

I keep the Ac at 80 F during the day but DH cannot deal with that during the evenings or weekends. So it goes to about 73 deg. :( however I have been told the eggs should be stored around 60 deg F . And the kitchen fridge is too cold.

All ideas welcome.:clap

How many days are you talking about?
I see no problem with just leaving them on the kitchen counter for a while.

X2 what @KikisGirls says, you don't want to hold them for more than 10 days, after that , fertility drops way off! Theoretically, they should be kept at 55°F but they will be ok, if it's not above 80°F. on the counter. Be sure to turn the eggs twice a day while storing.

We have some black-bellied whistling ducks visiting our pond! I've never seen one before. I hope they hang around for a while.

I love this post of yours yep I have major goals in life! OMG you can't even imagine the size of the Junebug on my porch! My wife took pictures of it, and I was afraid to touch it. This bug was dung beetle big. Wifey is sending my her pictures. I hope this bug is still around in the morning as one chicken will be happy!

We think this beast is a https://www.insectidentification.org/insect-description.asp?identification=Rhinoceros-Beetle

After visiting wikipedia this thing is definately getting fed to the chicken:

We see these all the time in the East Texas woods. Our Chickens love them! We ran out of regular junebugs in April this year.

I must have missed the start of this thread but where can you find 55 degrees fahrenheit in Texas? I bet you can find a unicorn there too!
My fridge is set to 40F and outside it is currently 82F at 2AM.. https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KTXSANBE2
