I see loads of coop potential. Do you have any plans for your new found dilapidated structure?

I see recoverable lumber there should you tear it down to re-purpose it. The stuff with the green paint on it does make me think you should pretend there isn't a hantavirus threat there vs a lead paint threat, but a respirator(or N-95 mask)might be a consideration.
My husband has already began destruction (using his tractor)...not a man to let the grass grow. He has it all earmarked for this and that. Lol. We bought the place at auction just to prevent any too close neighbors. The land is swampy and most of the lumber I soft And rotting, but there are a few nice boards that I'm snagging. Unfortunately all the windows and doors were already gone.
He did say I could have that weird looking chicken if I could catch it. I'm thinking it might not fit in with the rest of the flock.

I had mentioned posting photos of my silkie roo haircuts. My barbary skills are somewhat lacking and my customers aren't very patient, but here is the before:

I do need to refine this cut as it does provide adequate side vision for the birds but I am finding it somewhat lacking for perceiving aerial threats. I do have until the winter season to revise this little guy's haircut before our overwhelming numbers of raptors return.
That is adorably comical!

I've lost a few in this heat! have fans blowing, ice in the waterers shallow bowls for them to cool off in tons of shade ran water over the coops and we are still having heck =/
