Hehe I don't think facial hair counts!
I don't have facial hair but hair was in a braid to my waist. When I cut it, I cut 34 inches off.Hehe I don't think facial hair counts!![]()
I rate myself as 5% native american and did develop alopecia areata due to stress back in 2017 I thought it was ringworm at the time. Still I am blond and grey with green eyes so not much native blood coursing through my body. Just an almost complete lack of chest, arm and back hair(at 50something) remains from my heritage. It was generations ago that my family intermingled with a canadian tribe on my mothers side. Oh yeah the bald spots cleared up fine they all grew back in in pure grey.My hair is super fine which means it won't hold a braid or any other attempt to civilize it.
It's about as long as Sean's but, snow white. Do natives ever get gray hair or baldness?
Just asking because I've never seen any, in pictures etc.
My son is a redhead but in high school started losing hair - so just shaved it off Now he has a trimmed orange beard and mustache and really rocks the look. I am proud of him. He is engaged to a lovely woman a couple years younger than him.
My brother went bald in college. My sister & mom had really thick black hair. My brother had blond hair/blue eyes as a young person - everyone thought he was a Swede. I've never known a Swedish person so not sure if the comparison was right.
BTW when I was young I had dark brown hair with red highlights in the sun.
My favorite grandma (mother's side) was black hair but, her sister was a total redhead, I mean 9 million freckles and all. My son never had freckles.
Used to keep my hair every short but, got tired of it. I love the feel of freshly shampooed long hair but, with length it always gets caught in the zippers of my jackets and coats - OUCH!!
Old soldiers lose the ability to smile. Nothing personal. It is trained into us and we reflect on the tasks we were asked to perform. Should I ever upload a headshot to BYC do not expect to see a smile on my face either. I lose too much sleep time reflecting on those days. Sorry if I am wrong @007Sean but you do suffer it seems from gulf war Army face syndrome.Nice to see a current (?) photo of you Sean - I knew it was you at first glance, you still DON'T SMILE!
BTW you once told me to shave my eyebrows off. Ha! I didn't but, when I ran out of nails to bite - I started tweezing my eyebrows. They are still here but barely. Too much nervous energy on my part. They are starting to fill out again.![]()
