A while back, we had exterminator spray for spiders and scorpions. I was killing 1-2 scorpions a day. Since the spray, in early November, i have killed 2. 1 was sick and dying, the other cold and curled up and asleep. I think it worked.
I use something like this to really know. https://www.amazon.com/GearLight-Bl...s=scorpion+black+light&qid=1609255882&sr=8-16

my preferred batteries are probably a bit dated now: Samsung 25R's https://www.18650batterystore.com/products/samsung-25r-18650

Mine is kept hanging on a nail at the the back door and uses a single 18650 battery. I have not gone out and searched for them for a couple of years because scorpion stomping just got old. I do always make sure the battery is charged. Additionally, if I need to go out in the deep night for sure it is with me and switched on. I still disturb them in the yard if I move aged mesquite logs to my neighbor who loves to grill with it. I never get stung as I know to expect them some day I will learn how gloves work. I am just lazy with my shorts and flipflops.

Ok the battery place I linked has huge shipping charges so if you are a prime subscriber not recomended. I just thought why not order another 8 of them for hurricane season. For me it was basically 15 bucks for shipping. They were still cheaper than amazon after placing my order. I got 4 vs 8 at 2/3rds the price so not a win. Regardless they are more than adequate for our needs.

I am still so upset with cackle hatchery. I ordered a straight run and got 6 cockerel the odds are what 1:64 for that? From 6 birds. I honestly feel they are full of sheet telling me they didn't sex them. Oh well food for someone's table. I get to keep the quality ones.

So I was trying for an afternoon nap, but was reflecting on that auto accident my wife was involved in a few years back when the Wrangler was brand new. Steel>aluminum is all I can say about it. We might have had a couple of scratches on the plastic bits but the car that turned right out of the left lane no longer had functional passenger side doors. I know I mention this annually.

On a totally differing tangent my cat was thinking I wanted to share my 3AM grilled cheese sammie with him. I don't and had to shoo him away. I can't believe the brat even tried to get to my food after 14 years of togetherness. His stuff comes out of a can and not off the stovetop.
Well, if you got the 'munchies' at 3am, why not the kitty too!
