Yes it does and another cool front this weekend! Yee Haw. The Rains County Fair starts tonight so the weather should be great for Saturday night for the C/W dance. Now if I just had a partner! lol

I'm Namaste - My Beloved and I and our gaggle of kidlets just bought our first chicken coop and are looking to purchase some pullets. We're in the Leander/Lago Vista area of Central TX (Austin). So far we're looking at Silver Laced Wyandottes, Salmon Faverolles or Welsummers - leaning heavily towards the Faverolles. We also own 2 dwarf nigerian does, a maltipoo and cat. We currently have a little under half an acre and are always desiring more land. We're big on sustainability, self sufficiency, organics and natural living. I call it crunchy with a bit of sprinkles and spice...LOL

Looking forward to learning and sharing (and hopefully meeting!)

Welcome to our world! I've acquired some Fairy Moss and I'm expecting a shipment to meal worms today for my current project.... making the chickens food is cheap as possible. I've made a coop out of used pallets. My Chickens are very forgiving, and put up with all of my little projects. Hope you enjoy the chickens as much as I do!

Anybody looking for hatching eggs? I have a TON of Coronation/Light Sussex, Olive Eggers, Guinea, also some Serama, Splash and Lavender Cochin eggs. Asking $1.00 an egg (usually $3.00-$4.00 each..) plus shipping. We are going on vacation starting on Saturday so I can only ship tomorrow morning and Friday morning. If anyone is looking for eggs PLEASE PM me!! I hate to waste all these good eggs that are all pure and fertile and just begging to be hatched! Thanks everyone
