Texas

LoL, it is isn't it? We've been adopted by a stray kitten. It showed up Friday I believe, and it was hungry and thirsty and we're all suckers for cute kittens around here. If it hangs around much longer, we'll have to take it to the vet to get shots, dewormed, etc. We have an indoor cat, but none outside yet.

Lovely weather today so far. It's been cool and overcast up until about an hour ago. Might rain the next two days, but you know how weather forecasts are.

Dh is busting up pallets in the evenings, preparing to build raised garden beds and a chicken coop.

Awful quiet around here
what kind of noise would you like to make?

Pallet busting sounds pleasant. As does constructing raised beds.

Got the tree guy coming to put 3 more down. The one that's leaning toward the house, the one that's being leaned upon and the third that is growing beside the power line to the house. Oak root rot is real. Hurricanes are real and it pays to be proactive with tree selection. Went from 33 trees on this acre lot and now down to 3 of the original ones. Only 3 of those 30 hit the house in windstorms. We were lucky with minor repairs.

Chainsaws make a lot of noise.

It poured because I forgot to put my sunroof down.

I'm up to my eyeballs in unintentional chicks, lmk if you need any for that new coop!

Not entirecoop/run-just the exterior walls. Thought it might deter digging critters to have 10 inches of concrete.
Oh, that makes sense, lol. Should stop most things.

Um... This afternoon two other kittens showed up. Different ages though. Found their humans who are overrun with kittens and we may have ended up keeping one to be a new indoor cat. We sadly lost one of our two indoor cats about a month ago.
