60% chance of rain all weekend. Good weekend to not do yardwork.

Good weekend to sit on porch, drink coffee and enjoy doing nothing. I am in a holding pattern, can't do anything til close on property. So.....
I'm resting, thinking, planning....

Have to go rescue my truck from a mystery, later today. It is likely fuel filter or pump died yesterday right as storm rolled overhead….

So, it was the fuel filter…..
/lowers head in embarrassment

upon reflection and talks with a couple friends (at their shop) it’s appears this filter lasted over 3 years…. It was seriously black in color.

I tested the pump with the filter out of the bowl & it did exactly as expected….

put new filter in bowl with new o-rings & keyed ignition to ON…. Pressure gauge spun all the way to the preset ~70PSI and kicked off.

“Okay, that’s really good news.” I said to myself aloud - no one else around….

it fired right up.
