It IS metal!I was assuming the culvert was metal, like the ones under residential driveways. But I agree that drilling concrete sucks!

Helping and coop is predator proof.alternative is wrap culvert with wire (hardware cloth?) and wire or zip tie to the tight wire/hardware cloth snuggly encasing the culvert.
Wrap culvert.
Attach chain link to the wrapping holding culvert.
Clear?
I don't like drilling concrete, but is doable. Is the coop predator proof or will you have to reinforce it for stand alone?
Are we helping or confusing you?
Coop not moved yet-hopefully this weekend.Together, we will get through this. We just need to find our leader.
Drilling is an option. The zip ties would need to be replaced (sore subject cause mine started failing after 5 years - who could've imagined!). Wire would last a little longer, but would rust out also. Use both!
Glad you got the coop moved!
suggestion #2:I am wanting to attach a coop to this run.
Previous owner had a coop attached to this run. They used a culvert to join coop to run. Cut hole in run (see circled area). I have a culvert.
How would I attach/secure fence to it- and to coop fence?
