Man is it cold out today, but the farm looks beautiful with the ice! Came home this afternoon to find a new calf in the field. Sadly no pics yet 😏 but she/he looks healthy and of course adorable!

I have a broody. After she sat for a day and night to confirm she was dedicated. I started counting days on a Saturday. Tomorrow will be 21 days. I have not candles snooped, not eve sure eggs are fertile, etc....I did mark all 6 eggs with an X. Periodicity I lift her up count 6 and set her down.
I have seen her off nest 1 time 4/5 days ago (it was about 80 degrees) and she was off for over an hour-eggs felt cold....
Today, I lifted her up....
