They had talked about shutting it down because it had gotten so long, but decided to leave it open. I can't post links from my phone, but if you go to my profile it should be in my recent posts....

Ah, thank you. I found it and it will take a long time to plow through that thread but there's some long, cold nights coming up so maybe I'll make it eventually.

The original thread did get shut down for a few days months ago because some people were getting pretty upset over their "tell it like it is" attitude. The mods cleaned all the drama off there and opened it back up.

I'm in Murphy, near Garland/Richarson/Parker/Wylie/Sachse, Murphy is so small, people usually only know where it is based on what it is near!

Anyway, I'm wondering what you are doing to prepare your coop for the winter? Though it doesn't feel very winter-like today (highs in the 80's today) I'm sure it will come eventually. What can I do to make the chickens more comfortable? Knit them sweaters? Make them wear diapers and live in the house? Or just improve the coop to prevent drafts and make it more weather tight?

Thanks in advance!
