Just heard some wonderful thunder…..

~15 minutes and small storm have really developed. And… we won’t see an lick of it either…..

And no more teasing! Yeeeehah… it’s now raining nicely … not sure how long it will last. But, I’ll take it!




Oh and cute little oddity, the bottom pictures are sometimes 2-3second long mini “live” videos. That is if you save to the computer or in iPhone, hold a finger on the image and it’s goes “live” for that split second or so.

It's been right quite around here, no pop-up showers at all....yesterday, a huge supercell formed to the west of me but played out before it got here.

We've had one day where the dry-line was about 5 miles west of us. Nothing.
Another day when it was about 10 miles south. Nothing.
Then yesterday, about 5 miles north of us. Nothing.
Not counting on today, either.

I don’t mean to intrude, but I have quite the situation. (that’s just my opinion)

I’ve steered away from the Texas state thread because I’ve seen how many pages there are, and the number is very daunting.

I need homes for two of my hens and ten chicks. I’ve decided to post in the state thread for any recommendations of farms that may be willing to take them. I want my chooks to be well taken care of, and I believe an animal-friendly farm is my best bet.

I’m located in SE Texas and am willing to drive quite a bit to get them to a loving, new home.

You didn’t “kill the convo” … so don’t sweat it.

Best of luck. There are “Facebook BYC” groups and there is also marketplace and craigslist too.
