Second straight day of being surrounded by pop-up showers and getting none of it!

My peyote gourd plants came from seed stock from the high desert of Nevada but they can't tolerate this Texas drought conditions! Having to water them 2 to 3 times a day! plus, it's so dry, no moths to pollinate the blooms, so having to 'hand pollinate'.

Third times a charm!....but not so much a charm....got a light sprinkle for about 2 minutes.

They are use to make rattles, used in peyote ceremonies.
