Texas

My waterhose are famously in love with my mower. They will lovingly wrap around the blades and hold on tight.
I have 1 hose that isn't spliced back together-and he's trying his luck.
That being said.......
I have successfully mowed twice without a waterhose death or dismemberment.
WOO HOO!
They learned hiding in the grass/weeds didn't work. They learned reaching out grabbing didn't work (mower deck went under hose WHEW!-and hose slid along top of deck.
I still have 1 unspliced hose.

Did very little today….

Preping the *shoebox* for road use very soon. Discovered the inside of the drums & brakes on the drivers side are completely coated in axle grease.

It sat in the side yard for the last several years as “outside storage” & its almost emptied. Once it’s emptied. It’s gonna get a full pressure washer bath inside and the rest of the outside too. It’s headed down to the lakehouse for use as temporary storage while we finally finished the inside upgrades down there.

Those inner wheel bearing seals are the obvious culprit…. When I got it they were fine. But, the rare use over the following years of occasional use didn’t notice the slinging grease on the inside of the drums. (Big sigh) oh well. Deep cleaning the entire hub assembly and the drum surface too. That’s not gonna be fun. Thankfully it’s going to be cheap - time and water from our well.

We got a nice amount of rain over the last week as well.

Oh well. Night night y’all.

Lippy standing guard.
