From having given several birds a bath over these last 3+ years now… I have a really well oiled system down…

Clear plastic tote (sized for the chickens comfort) we have several sizes [don’t ask why]

Dawn soap & very warm water
Several of the “dog towels” in the laundry room
The heavy duty hair dryer (has multiple settings)

***** every chicken when they are put in the soapy warm water almost always ends up wanting to sit down like in a nest! So with that I always have the water no more full then about 1/2 way to the top of the back when seated on the towels next to tote.

***** every chicken LOVES the blow dryer on warm to lukewarm setting and several have almost to actually fallen asleep while they were getting a blow dry! They especially have enjoyed it when I will super gently spread a wing out and point the nozzle at the under side of the wing and their rib cage. One hen kept falling asleep and her beak was a slow tilt towards the table top and *tink* they were asleep and were not waking up quickly after that self inflicted bonk!
