I finally live without clay.
Rich brazos bottom dirt .
I actually checked the dirt before I bought. I had decided NO CLAY. I was tired of needing a pickaxe to dig a hole.

My filler dirt is brazos river sand. Just have to get a good dry period so I can get more delivered.

I got the crates lined up as garden/flower beds. I'm working on filling them up. I need to let the run dry out a little more for mulch.
Meanwhile, I am still working on coop roof, added some 2x4 filler inside, need to screw roof to new 2x4, I grabbed some liquid flexseal, spray flexseal to cover seams. I wanted black jack, but town doesn't have it. Next time I go to bryan/College Station I'm gonna pick some up and paint over all seams, or maybe entire roof. Maybe? I wonder if the black roof will absorb heat? Gonna look for WHITE black jack. Gonna look.

We went to the Jewett flee market a few months back and there were puppies everywhere, but I controlled myself, lol, now when I saw the piglets and tiny pygmy goats my husband had to drag me away
