I unfortunately don't have those breeds. Just Phoenix, Spitzhauben, English Orpington, Ameraucana and mixes of those.Howdy! I see that there are (unfortunately) a lot of roosters needing homes.
I am looking for two Rhode Island Red (RIR) or Barred Rock (BR). One of each, or however it works out.
Older roos are welcome, but I do not want an older aggressive roo!
I have chicks, so I am not in a hurry. These guys will have a wonderful life with twenty hens. Predator safe coops, covered, enclosed runs, free ranging when I think it’s safe, which is a lot of the time.
I am in between Houston & Victoria. I am willing to drive to look at & probably take home the ‘boys’, or boy.
I can’t wait to get my Spitzhauben! It will be after the first of the year because I am redoing everything in my coops & runs. While I was visiting my grandchildren in Seattle, I was not made aware that there was a problem with my ladies. I got a phone call, he said “I lost them” lost what? “Your chickens”. He had not told me a raccoon had torn down a piece of fence. Within a couple of nights my ladies were goneI unfortunately don't have those breeds. Just Phoenix, Spitzhauben, English Orpington, Ameraucana and mixes of those.
