Jerk!He is a different kind of sh!t! He ripped my WTB out of the nest box and repeatedly flogged her, and pinned down one of my BCM pullets and wouldn't stop pecking her until my OE came and whipped him. He's a total douche!

I've had OEGB and Sebrights start trying out crowing at like 2 weeks old.I agree. I can pick out a male bantam so much earlier than a standard. Usually by 4 weeks I know a bantams gender, especially the oegb.
Standard Easter egger males can stump me until they are at least 5 to 6 months old. My pea comb males are usually slower to reveal their gender.
Standard Phoenix will start brooding after the first week of laying sometimes. I had two that did and hatched out the 3 to 5 eggs I let them keep. What breed? I've had bantams go broody after a few weeks of laying. The earliest I've had a standard go broody is around 7 months. I would keep an eye on things, she may be hiding from a bully.

What a handsome boyHi everyone! I need find a new home for my 1-year-old Black Australorp rooster. He's very good at taking care of his hens. He is great at finding them food and protecting them. The only reason I have to rehome him is I need to downsize my flock due to chronic shoulder/feet problems making it difficult for me to take care of them and I need to rehome him as soon as possible. We are near the Tyler/Longview area.
He is gorgeous. Good luck finding him a new home, and good luck with your health, as well.Hi everyone! I need find a new home for my 1-year-old Black Australorp rooster.
