To be honest, I don't care about SOP as much as egg color. I want them to be healthy, though. I'm just selling eggs for eating, not breeding.

Also, I'm second guessing BCM because I'm worried how they'll do in the heat. Any thoughts on the heavier breeds with feathered feet being able to handle our summers?

Who's letting their Java peafowl run free range?

A guy about 10(estiment) years ago let all his pea fowl out and they visit from time to time. We see whites and pides alot in the woods as well. It happened when he got to old to care for them I think not sure.
