My chicks got here yesterday at 7am woot. Ideal called me wed around 3on asking if it was okay to substitute black broilers fort the red (they were out of reds
:-( ). But every one made it here safe and sound. No extra were sent I was crossing my fingers hopeing they would.

I have never gotten even 1 extra bird from Ideal... even though I have losses in the box every time they arrive...

I swear my new chickens are..... retarded (no offense intended by the use of the word to those mentally disabled.)

All 3 spent 5 mins pecking at the coop wall just now when I went to check on them. *sigh*

my SSG would call us all in the section retards! we knew which one of us he was talkin to too! wierd! lol

I have never gotten even 1 extra bird from Ideal... even though I have losses in the box every time they arrive...

they sent us 5 extras!!! that was very un expected!!! and yes one DOA....

I was really hoping they would especially after they had to change my order after saying that had what I wanted in stock but then again mine were alive when I picked them up but one is worrying me seems a little weak fixing to head home and check on them

The red broilers are delicious. Red are easier to clean than the blacks.
