Too cute!!!! Can't wait for my chicks 7 more days till arrival!
If anyone is looking for production red pullets and is close to Seguin producers co-op should get them at the end of the month but you do have to order them. These are just starting to lay not the egg house rejects! If anybody is interested I will post their number.

We have 2 lavender Ameracaunas, 2 cuckoo Marans, 2 Barnevelders, 1 Brahma and 2 Delawares..... Quite a mix, I know but since we're just starting out I kinda wanted an Arty flock. Sure do hope they get along. So far so good. And dear Hubby decided the cardboard box was too small and spent most of today building them a new plywood box. --- with casters, so we can roll them in and out of the BR to keep an eye on the dogs. I'll post pics in a few days after the Polyurethane dries and we get them in their new digs!

I got many lovely presents today from my feathered babies. I found another one of my precious geese started laying for momma..one of my Seb Project girls laid her first egg this morning. It weighed 124 grams. So cute! My Roman girl also gave me a whopping 176 gram egg. And if that wasn't enough..the ducks laid 10 eggs for me this morning, AND my Seramas (who have been on strike for months) gave me two adorable little eggs! Both weighed 30 grams.

By the by...if anyone is interested in duck, or chicken eggs I have some available. Help...I can't stop setting eggs! LOL

I have a bunch of mixed duck egg (see siggy for breeds), also have Serama eggs, and Coronation/Light Sussex, and Black Orpingtons. PM if interested. : )
