Greenfire is the one who imported them from Europe.. their price has come down a lot since last year

Lol.. My husband got me a total of 23 Bresse eggs from 2 different breeders..

no idea what he paid for them .. but I know he said they weren't cheap

he said the the Euskal Oiloa eggs weren't cheap either.. So I'm glad he was listening when I was telling him which breeds I wanted to get

Those Euskal Oilia birds you posted are stunning! I am only focusing on Wyandottes so I can do my best, but those make me want to add them to my pasture. They are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, if I had a chance at some eggs I would jump on them.

Pretty!

I keep needing more coops...

The Euskal Oiloa are from Spain..said to be extremely intelligent and make a nice meat bird.. also one of the friendliest breed around. Some people refuse to butcher theirs because they are so nice. They are also a good layer.

Anyone know what the sickness/ disease is that makes a "plug" of plaque ( Like what forms in your arteries that causes a heart attack) in the Trachea right where the voice box or " Crow Box" is? It's suffocated 27 birds, but I finally got rid of it. Im just curious as to what it was!

All my birds right now are kind of sick. They all have runny noses and sneezing. Abnormal droppings. Some have liquid orange, Tar, And white kind that screws their vent feathers up! There's 3 birds who's eyes are swollen all the way like a ring around the eye. 2 died from that. Some are always a tad huddled up. They seem better once they come out to free range for an hour everyday, but can't go out any longer because it's so cold! By the way these are all my bantams and cockerels and pullets.

im thinkin im gunna ask doc Mendoza if he knows how to caponize! i rlly want to learn how to do that so we are keeping the roos we have and not selling them off or wasting months waiting for little meat! i have talked to the chinese capon guy on here and he has 2 kits available one is 35 i believe and the other is 45? i think? i gotta check the msg again... but both together was 125 shipped from china! i thought they were cheaper than domestic!?!?!?
