Hubbie just installed some metal duct vent covers for ventilation on the side of our coop, the whole front half of the coop also opens, will that be enough ventilation for this summer? Our coop is in an almost completely shaded spot in our yard, gets morning sun but not after noon. Really dont want to roast the chicks in their coops.

I'm no show judge but here goes. I think the comb on this guy is a little off should have 5 distinct points otherwise looks pretty good tail could probably be more black, my roo is great quality but his comb froze in Oklahoma thats how I got him, he wouldn't tuck his head in on cold nights so it froze. Very sad but we love him just the same I don't think he would require show quality ladies though yours aren't poor quality, I don't think. I would still like to have some eggs. I ordered some on EBAY and 1 hatched oh yeah and its all black not black tailed white.

Oh wow! That is crazy! I think I would have had a hissy fit if I would have ordered eggs and gotten only one chick.
As for the japs, I will have to get more pictures tomorrow. I will email you with what I would like to get for the eggs and also send you individual pictures. I'm glad to hear that they aren't of poor quality because I thought they were much better looking than some I have seen other places.

I will have the email for you tomorrow with the pictures and prices for 6 or 12 eggs and then we can go from there. As for right now, I am heading to bed. 6am is going to come quickly! LOL!

If the whole front opens up that should be fine 3 sided structures are great in the summer.

Only half of the front will lift up and have a stick that will hold it up. The opening is where the large door will be. i wanted them to be warm in our 2 weeks of winter, lol

looks great I have a coop built with the same idea I used an old wooden house window to cover the large opening and just hinged it at the top so it could be propped up, then I took out one of the small panes of glass at the bottom so they have a door in the winter and made them a ladder.
