No one laugh but I made a chart of the breeds I am getting and their tendencies.... The higher the number the higher production or the higher the tendency to sit on eggs.

If you have ever had these breeds, can you tell me if this chart seems about right? My RIR laid really well and she laid very large eggs, but I only had one with three buff orpingtons, so i don't have much to compare to.

On another note, when I get my chicks, anyone want to help me figure out who is what?

So a couple of good news bits for me!

I finally got all my chicken pictures cataloged and in order! Took me forever but they are there. I like it because I can see how each chicken has come along. (weekly-ish pictures of them until 6 months old, then they move to a monthly pic) Everyone is in order though there were a couple I wasn't too sure about. Dang barred rocks looking so much alike.

And the best bit of news, I finally found a home for my angry rooster. Told them all about his temper and guess what, they want him because of his temper. Seems people have helped themselves to the birds in their flock and they want a rooster that will protect against people! YAY!!!! I am so happy to see this guy go, I will miss him, but not his temper.

How neat is that! Maybe our birds are sisters who didn't get to know each other but for a couple of hours after hatching.

Here are pics of the other two I got from the same batch at the feedstore.

The top one is named Cleopatra and the bottom one is named Elizabeth.
