Its great! Total cost to me was 2.69....for a hing for their pop door. The rest was all laying around! Talk about thrifty!

If the chickens have access to their run from sun up to sun down can i just put feed and water in the run or do i need to have it in the coup as well?

I like your setup. Are you going to lock them in the coop at night?

I saw where Ideal and Privett had both sold them (not sure if they still do or not) but they are two of the "main" suppliers for feed stores in Texas

Ideal still lists them. they aren't on Privett's website.. but ARE listed on Welp hatchery (who ships to us through Privett)

Yes. The run will connect to the coup, there is a gap at the moment cause im still working on it, but there is a door leading out to run from the coup that will be opened in the AM and closed in the evening. Tomorrow im adding roosts and going to rig the lid with hinges for my own access

DH took the kids camping, so I have the night off. First time since my son was born that I have had a night to myself. So what am I doing???? Dishes, laundry, feeding the animals, but I LOVE IT! One night off is good, could not stand one more without my kids. But..... I am watching the Matrix Trilogy, drinking a vodka and sprite, and NO ONE is asking me "Mom, what is for dinner", "Mom, I am hungry", "Mom, can I play on your phone", "Mom, Mom, Mommy, Mommy". AND I am going to go to bed early and sleeping late!!!!! Sad what you come to with kids, LOL, would not change it for a second! I have to admit, I miss them

, already called to make sure they are having fun.

Just hope N. Korea does not strike tonight
