the problem with places like that for me is they are like a candy store for a little kid.. I LOVE hardware, power tools.. FENCING.. and can never have enough screws, bolts, nails....

my husband loves it.. he knows he'll never get yelled at for bringing home building supplies... most of the time he'll hear "awww.. why didn't you tell me you were going.. I wanted to go toooo"

Little Wing are you getting some of CatKai's silkied ? You're going to have to build more pipe enclosures ;-)
I want to get some, but I am at my limit. I have so much to build just to house what I have growing out now. My plans are bigger than my budget.
HAPPY Easter! I hope every ones day was filled with happiness.

We had fried chicken, potato salad, cold slaw, a BUNCH of fresh veggies, and strawberries. Was very nice to have a bunch of cool food when it was hot at lunch.

Now I am freezing from running around in the rain rounding up chickens and getting them feed. Everyone is in their nice dry coops now.

Hey has anyone tried baked radishes? If you like radishes you will LOVE them baked. If you don't like radishes, you will at least not find them horrible, LOL!!!!! It is a new recipe I just learned, for the little radishes, cut them in quarters, for bigger cut them down to that size. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, pop them in a toaster over (or over) at 400 for about 25 mins. Quick easy, healthy and taste soooooooooooooooo good. I am addicted, I buy 3 bunches every time I go to HEB bake them all up and take them for lunch. They are VERY filling. So stop feeding those almost bad radishes to the chickens and start baking them (Don't tell your girls I said that, don't what a hit put out on me

I don't really like them but my wife LOVES them and I grow them for her. She says that recipe sounds great. I may even try that.

Let me know what you think, I have gotten my co-workers and family hooked on them. If you can get the little (not dicon sp?) white radishes, and bake those, they taste even better, almost like french fries.

I want some of CatKai's silkied too.. but like you.. I need more room.. and a bigger budget for more coops!
They are next on the list.

LOL I know how that goes....I just bought a mitre saw and table for Mike because I was at the store with him and couldn't resist.

for about 14 years.. I "got" power tools for my birthday.. problem was the guy i was married to at the time had actually bought them for himself (using my birthday and love of power tools as a good excuse to get them) .. and said they were mine I wouldnt have minded.. but he would take them to work and I never saw them again

Doh! I buy them, Mike uses them. I say I want to do XYZ and he does it instead. :hit He doesn't seem capable of wrapping his mind around the fact that his wife worked in a woodshop long before he ever met her! :gig
