If they leave that is the important thing!!!!

The weather is about 30 degrees today, it's not too badly. It's a lot better than 110+++ right? LOL
I have two new ducklings that hatched in the 'bator yesterday and last night with more hatching. they are such darlings!

x2000 I hate the heat!!!! Lived in TX all my life and each year it gets worse. As kids we used to at least have little brooks that came up from Edwards Aquifer, now, nothing... My parents have lived in the same house for 32 years, there is a natural pond up the road that would get so full that in the spring/summer (dried out by the end of summer) us kids used to be able to swim in it, it is has not had measurable water in it in the past 10 years. TX is just drying up, which I think makes the heat that much worse.

i would rather have the 110 temps! (and yes i even say that in summer)
I hate the cold.. and the snow.. and the ice... brrrrrrrrrrr
I have a bad back.. so the cold weather causes way too much pain... cold and wet windy weather is even worse.
I so agree with you 100%. You are not alone.

Well I hope everyone is doing great. We have had some cold temps lately. I want some snow, so it will at least get above 20 degrees here. Aw well, I'll be saying I wish winter was here when summer gets here.

Bator huming along with quail, Marans, RIR, Aussies, and English white Orps to go in this week.

My English Cuckoo Roo should be getting here in the morning, and my trio of splash silkies will be here Thursday.

smgh! this is what I find when I go to close the coop tonight! my isbar rooster with a bloody comb and hurt wing and limp, deciding wether or not to end his misery or try to heal him. also had to hint down 9 chickens that didn't make it back to coop, two others had been ” attack attempted” by something. guess I won't be free ranging at all anymore. I only free range twice a week for a couple hours.
