Texas

I think I need to go and buy a truckload of feed and leave it parked outside and not unload it that always seems to make it rain!!!!

Too funny - it's raining pretty solid at our place, right now. It's a given because my husband is trying to get my incubator built and is getting rained on while he does it ((has to open the shop doors to help keep the dust down)).

TCS in Bastrop will have chicks in the store tomorrow. The person I talked to had no clue what breeds they will get.

Bastrop Feed & Supply will have their chicks on Wednesday morning.

I need to get some cornish cross for freezer camp.. but they will have to wait til the end of the month if they still have them

When I called Welp the other day the woman who answered the phone told me that they supply TSC with chicks.. problem is she didn't say WHICH ones they supply... so it makes me wonder where the two that are local to me get their chicks.

We got rain.. as soon as i headed out to go get puppy food it started.. I get back home and it's stopping again.. grr

it rained here in Jonestown for a whole 5 minutes, just long enough to get the dirt wet in the garden so I cant get any work done today. not that I'm complaining about the rain, I just wish that we could get more of it

ok
Just called Lampasas TSC

They will have chicks one day this week.. not sure which day and naturally they don't know which types until they go pick them up at the post office. They were told to start expecting them today.. so now it's just a matter of waiting for them to arrive

The girl there did verify that theirs come from Privett Hatchery out of New Mexico... which is part of Welp Hatchery (or works in conjunction with Welp). I know that if we order from Welp most of the birds will come from Privett. There are a few exceptions.. but most are Privett birds.
