I cant wait!! love me some ducks and geese...muscovys, ehhhh...their "man in the iron mask"-esque face kinda deters me a bit...lol but everyone seems to LOVE them...dunno! but yeah i have a small pond that needs to be cleaned up a little bit and when i can get to it i will build a small pen and fence in that bad boy and be good to go! so much to do with so little time and money but somehow we make it, lol!

@kilshirion, yes he's not my only chicken. He's used to hens and even other Roos but he needs a home. Any one interested on him or his silkie brother,

IM still really on the fence about guineas...i know i want some turkeys...and one day some waterfowl, but guineas leave me with ALOT of what ifs....

I love, love, love my guineas! They are pushy and loud, they sometimes pick on my chickens. Regardless they are really fun to have, and I haven't had to pick a tick off of anything in years!

Definitely call, it will help if they know who you are and why you are worried!
Yes, call your PO and give them your phone number. If McMurray has your phone number they will put it on your order and the PO will call and let you know when the chicks arrive. My chicks were shipped on Saturday and arrived on Monday. They can survive for three days after hatching without food and water but make sure you give food and water right away when they arrive. You may have to dunk their beaks in the water until they get the idea. I had one that was not eating or drinking and I was worried about it. It was just wobbling in the middle of the box like a drunken sailor. I dunked its beak in the water three times before it snapped out of its stupor and started drinking on its own. I'm sure you will do fine.
