Texas

Just be sure to introduce them on neutral ground.. or introduce them slowly... then you shouldn't have any issues
I plan to. I am going to try and get the silkies and my other chicks at the same time so they grow up together, then introduce them to my current two(which may turn to four) slowly, more than likely visits to the yard together and then after a week or two introduction into the coop at night.

What feed store do you get your chicks at? The only place around to get chicks at where I live that I know of is Tractor Supply and Midlothian Feed.

I got my chicks here at the feed store in Glen Rose, not the one right off the main road but the one over by the square.

amg that is by dinosaur valley! I haven't been there in years! I miss that place, always fun. What kids of chicks did you get from your feed store? Mine stopped ordering from ideal due to chicks lost.

Yeah, I live almost in Fossil Rim. Sometimes that makes things interesting. I don't know many people who see the buffalo roaming on their way to work every day.

Do silkie shave a hard time roosting? Do I need to make lower roosts? My roosts are I think about.... two foot off the ground? If So I will make another set of roosts for them.
