Just remember what can and will get this thread shut down for a little bit, like it did a few months back....So can I ask that we not talk politics (as much as I love to

) and if anyone comes on here in response to post that have already been posted, just ignore them and lets keep this thread open and not closed for cleaning or shut down totally?

I hope everyone is getting SLAMMED with rain, we are! Made it home right as it hit.

I have a bead on some decent quality hatching eggs, but I am not good at incubating eggs. My success/fail rate is horrible. I would rather someone hatch them and me buy the chicks.

You have heard the old saying, "A watched pot never boils." I can tell you, a watched incubator never hatches. That is my problem. I can't leave it alone. lol

what a busy day! not to mention my bossman dropped a bomb on us and turned in his 2 weeks!! now there will be only myself and another guy rotating call weeks, im getting bumped up to international duty with no pay raise...in addition to what i do already!! and have to train someone else to help us maintain the workload.....ugh....not looking forward to the next few weeks at all!!

defintately looking forward to a drinkle-doodle-doo this eveing!!

I have 5 incubators running right now... hatch dates every week this month.. more eggs on the way...
I think I can hatch out eggs in my sleep...

there have been several times in the past month that I forgot who was due to hatch when.. then open the bator to see a chick staring at me as if to say.."uhm... did ya forget something?"

but after ya hatch out emu eggs.. it's easy to ignore the bators!

I still have dry ground here... *sighs*

been watching the radar.. the storm heads for us.. then skirts right around us and heads south....

this happens all the time.. it's rare for us to actually get any rain
Killeen will get soaked
Ft Hood will get soaked
Copperas Cove will get soaked
Kempner will get soaked
Lampasas will get soaked

we stand here in the bubble and wave at the storm clouds as they go by...
