anybody got any clue what breed the white one is suppose to be? I think she is suppose to be an americauna from ideal. Just wondering because she doesn't look like anybody else.

Ideal sells no Ameraucanas...they sell Easter Eggers that they often call Ameraucanas/Americanas (the proper spelling doesn't have an i in it, btw).

And, yes, she looks like she may grow out to look like my Buffy....my Buffy looked almost exactly like her at four weeks. Now she is a beautiful buff/golden partridge:

I think yours will have white and buff in her rather than the black and golden-buff in Buffy. But, similar markings. And the cheek muffs. All of mine have the muffs, but no beard. All of them have slate legs. None of them are "correct" markings for SOP....and, I'll be surprised if a one of them lays a true blue egg. I'm betting they'll be greenish (blue crossed with brown) or really light blue (blue crossed with white).

Has anyone else noticed that EEs are coming really close to having a consistent colouration pattern happening?

I figured they were Easter eggers but I was calling them what ideal called them and sorry for misspelling, grammar and spelling have never been my strong points! :)
Oh, lots and lots of places will spell it with an i when they are trying to pass 'em off. I didn't consider it a misspelling so much as "that's how they spelled it". Ideal is known for their fence hopping roos and for deliberately out breeding with "close colours" if they are needing to get production up. I have several SGDs from Ideal that are sitting in my Menagerie coop, right now. I'm going to be very curious to see how they grow up. Currently, they are too long/thin legged. I think they may be more white than silver....because I'm betting they were crossed with a duckwing of a different breed. But, even so, they do have very sweet dispositions and are the bravest of the bunch. The keets have even started following the Dorkings' lead and coming over to me while I'm feeding them. Never thought I'd see the day that my keets came to me....we don't really handle our birds in The Eggcelsior all that much.

i did want to show this pic of one of the "jersey giants" or so they say, she is the sweetest little pullet who loves to be petted!
I love that face!!
I have to say...I'm on pins and needles....
I'm down to single digit days for hatch. We are 99% certain we found the issue that caused us to lose our entire last hatch. Overzealousness on our part  in trying to keep it a steady temp had us reducing the air exchange too much about ½ way through the last hatch. We did the "incense test" ((thanks Yinepu!!)) and rectified that problem. So far, everyone is looking great (well, two questionables...but, for shipped eggs? That's outstanding). So **fingers crossed** ...it is absolutely stupid to be this excited about eggs hatching....

I don't have pics of my own of the ones I got last night but this is one from the breeder.

Show Girl

This isn't the roo I got, it's his father. I already had him and I had 2 hens from Show Girl already too. All of the Ameraucanas I have came from Crystal Creek. Thank You Cyndy!
