Well, my SS#1 is visiting for a while. May be living here for quite some time...but, we put him to work.

They designed the sign:

Then they painted it. Pretty colour!!

And, now she's almost done.

We still have to put the roosts in, the stairs and ramp in the back and divide the nesting boxes; but, for the most part, she's done! I'm trying to convince Mike that we need hitching posts out front. He has made a sign, though...it is a small "chalkboard" sign that has the rates of the hotel on it.

Daily = 1 egg
Weekly = 5 eggs
Meals included

That cracked me up.

He's chomping at the bit to get started on The Broken Yolk; but, I refuse to let him until he finishes the "nit pick" work on this one

Great news on the van!

I bet you did plug BYC. I've found myself doing that, too. It's a great place - especially the TX thread!!

Depending on your route, we could be between Houston and Ft. Hood.

That's awesome Kili. If my chickens were to see that coop they would go on strike to relieve them from deplorable conditions they live in. No curtains, no ramps, no sign.

Sseriously, that is a cool coop!

You made me crack up.

Oh, and Fentressfarmer - we put less than $150 into this coop. The majority of that was on the wire and paint. I could have gotten a lower cost paint; but, I really liked this one
