Good morning everybody, well I finally got a run for the kids put up Saturday and they love it! Still needs some tweaking though I had 1 inmate escape but I got her back in!

my daughter had a big time feeding the chicks!

I nearly had a heart attack. You said you put up a "run for the kids" and a toddler was in the picture, and, for just a moment, I thought "What kind of people am I talking to here?" Especially when I read that "One inmate escaped".

Then I sat down like a good girl and stopped jumping to conclusions until I read the entire post.


She's a cutey, and your chickens look happy in there.

I have some Americanas that are about 4 wks old. Is it ok to give them a little red bell pepper that I have left over? It isn't cooked or anything. Just plain and already seeded. Just wondering everyone's thoughts about it. I love looking through the thread and getting a lot of great ideas for my ever growing chicks.

Go for it. Just be sure to give them some grit.

You mean you *don't* lock up your toddlers? What's wrong with you? ha ha ha ha! Love it, needed a laugh this morning!!

gonna be a long day today i predict....then gotta hit up TSC on my way home for another waterer if they have the kind i want! i know i had some huge pertinant question i was going to post...but it seems to have slipped my mind, hopefully will remember soon!
